The West Dorset Research Centre.
The volunteers at the West Dorset Research Centre are collecting details of anyone in the past who migrated from Dorset. Forms for these details can be filled in online, or a form can be downloaded to send to them by post. This site also offers some interesting publications.
You might also find it interesting to look at the database of US Haskell ancestors, submitted by David Haskell. Click on the “Family Trees” tab, then type Haskell into “Find a database by surname”. David’s database will come up at the top of the page.
